Why did you become an author?
I love telling stories to kids, and this was the best way to keep doing that.
What are you reading right now?

Have you ever been to the Bronx? If so, what's a favorite memory you have? If not, what do you know or think about the Bronx?
Every year, I visit P.S. 153 in the Bronx and work with their 5th graders, who happen to be some of the smartest, most interesting kids I've ever worked with. I believe kids from the Bronx are going to change the world.
What is a quote you live by?
“If you want your children to be intelligent, read them fairy tales. If you want them to be more intelligent, read them more fairy tales.” —Albert Einstein
