Why did you become an author?

I wanted to see more of my world reflected in the books I read.

 What are you reading right now?

I've just started A Taste of Sage by Yaffa S. Santos.

 Have you ever been to the Bronx? If so, what's a favorite memory you have? If not, what do you know or think about the Bronx?

My favorite memory of the Bronx going to Parkchester and searching for the terracotta gargoyles and friezes on the buildings. I also have fond memories of eating a huge mozzarella and broccoli raab sandwich on Arthur Avenue.
