ELIZABETH LIM
AUTHOR OF SPIN THE DAWN
Why did you become an author?
Honestly, I never thought I'd become an author. For the longest time, I worked towards becoming a classical composer. But I always loved to write, and I often wrote stories to accompany my musical compositions. It took me a long time to discover myself as an author, but eventually I grew to love writing fiction more than music, and that's how my journey towards publication began!
What are you reading right now?
Rebel Rose by Emma Theriault.
Have you ever been to the Bronx? If so, what's a favorite memory you have? If not, what do you know or think about the Bronx?
Yes, I loved going to the Bronx Botanical Garden — went there on an early date with my husband!
What is a quote you live by?
"You are the music while the music lasts." —TS Eliot
